Pizza day

Students celebrate the Pizza day on English class.

First-year Communications students at a university in San Miguel celebrated Pizza Day during their English class on Tuesday, turning a regular lesson into a lively moment of convivencia, games, and shared laughter.

The activity began when a group of students volunteered to pick up the pizzas—pepperoni and cheese varieties—which were later distributed among the class. Everyone received one slice to start, creating a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. To add excitement, the instructor introduced a roulette-style game to raffle off extra portions. The dynamic sparked amusement, especially when one of the pizzas accidentally slipped off a desk, prompting laughter throughout the room.

“We were really happy to celebrate this day together,” said several students, noting that the experience allowed them to enjoy time as a group beyond the typical classroom routine.

To complete the celebration, students bought drinks and continued sharing while enjoying their pizza. The event concluded with positive reactions from the group, who highlighted the value of taking part in an activity that strengthened camaraderie and created memorable moments among future communicators.
